Boy Set Fire Mengaku Senang Bekerja Sama Dengan Bridge Nine Records

Setelah memutuskan reuni pada 2010 lalu, kini Boy Set Fire siap meluncurkan album baru. Ini akan menjadi oase ditengah keringnya produktifitas mereka pasca rilisnya The Misery Index: Notes from the Plague Years 2006 silam.

Adalah Bridge Nine Records, label asal Amerika Serikat yang berkesempatan merilis album baru dari unit post-hardcore/melodic-hardcore ini. Dan ini akan menjadi kerja sama mereka untuk pertama kali nya. Sekaligus suatu kehormatan bagi label yang sudah aktif merilis sejak 1996 ini.

"It's a real honor to be working with BoySetsFire; they've influenced a lot of great bands today. Having been a fan of the band since The Day The Sun Went Out, i'm very excited for this release both personally and professionally. It's awesome to be working with a band that has such a great history and a clear artistic vision. All of us here at B9 are glad to be a part of their first new music since 2006. Selaras dengan Bridge Nine Records. Boy Set Fire pun mengungkapkan hal yang serupa atas kerja sama ini. Mereka mengatakan, tidak ada hal yang lebih membahagiakan selain bekerja sama dengan label yang telah banyak merilis album favorit mereka dan yang saat ini banyak direkomendasikan oleh band-band.

"It was their reputation as honest and passionate that was the single most important factor to us in deciding to work with them," lanjut band asal Delaware, Amerika Serikat ini.

Boy Set Fire mengatakan, album baru mereka mungkin lebih punk. Namun, masih terdengar seperti Boy Set Fire dialbum-album sebelumnya; emotional post-hardcore dengan elemen metal, punk dan melodi. Kini mereka telah memulai proses rekaman di Signal 2 Noise Studio, Newark, Amerika Serikat.(AL)
